Versus: Dual

IPA - Imperial / Double New England

This Versus series is a pair of beers that explore the differences between Northern and Southern hemisphere hops, while keeping the process and all other ingredients the same. Here with Dual, we used Galaxy, The Bruce and Wakatu from Australia and New Zealand. For Jewel, we used El Dorado, Idaho-7 and Citra from North America. In Dual we experience notes of passion fruit and citrus with a hint of lime zest. Compare the two beers and let us know what you think.

Men fin øl anyways.

Juicy with citrus, mango, tropical fruit, zesty orange, some pale malt. Medium bitter, light sweetish. Very good, as expected from Dry & Bitter.

Signature D&B biscuity malt. Not too sweet. Mildly bitter at the end. The fruity aromas are subdued. Hazy, definitely not juicy.

A bit sweet but mostly dry stone fruit bitterness. However, the fruitiness and bitterness is very well balanced. Good body and a nice flavourful finish. Excellent.
