Boozy candied orange aroma. Sweet boozy very citrus and orange forward flavor. Finishes with some caramel notes and relatively light bitterness. Clean finish and invites another sip. Lots of sediment.

A customer accidentally ordered this, not realizing what they were getting into. I was happy to pick up the gauntlet. Malty, hoppy, big. Not as over the top as some years but delicious nonetheless. Ballgame tomorrow might be awfully dicey.

If you expect this to be similar to the 90min IPA, you will be sorely disappointed. The barrel aging gives this beer the distinctive barrel aged flavour, so this drinks closer to a barrel aged stout imo. A very enjoyable beer, just don't expect an IPA.
