At this age it's a totally different beer. No hop flavor left. Better fresh, but glad to know what happens this far along. Interested to see how this works in a vertical.

Needed something strong and from Delaware and found this in the cellar.

This has held up shockingly well for a lowly red cap. I think I like it better now than I did fresh.

Still a GREAT beer...7+ years later. This was the beer that I gave my first ‘perfect score’ to...about 15 years ago.

My goodness. It has faded a little but but still one if the all time greats from DFH IMHO.

Sweet and smooth. For 9 years old. Very good. Almost barely wine like

Aged since 2013 & damn it's like a Barleywine now. Delicious 😋

Lost a step on carbonation against a 2019 but still some head after 10yrs in the bottle. Strong Molasses and malt. Hops bitterness lost most of it’s bite. nice.

Surprisingly bright and lively - a lot of fruity hop flavors survived the 10yrs of age

As expected some oxidation and thinner mouthfeel. Drinkable? Oh yeah

Spennende!

From the cellar, 2013. Super sweet. A good bit past it's prime.

Aged pretty nicely. Barleywine with some slight wood.
