It is bigly for sure. Caramel, malt and pine notes. There’s an alcohol burn on first taste but settles into a surprisingly smooth brew. Lotsa hops and lotsa bitter. Really a well-done beer…and it’s as strong as advertised.

Love the way this smells. Super potent. So strong I can't really pick anything out flavor wise. Borders on being hot, but it's still balanced. Flavor-wise, think I prefer Notorious. This is 50% stronger though. Quite a feat.

Wat een fantastisch bier. Super hoppig maar alcohol zo goed verstopt. Stevig in your face triple in het kwadraat gehopt bier. Bier wat je moet delen maar na je laatste slok toch denkt….had ik deze niet beter alleen op kunnen drinken😉

Very malty, caramel, sweet, clean and bitter backbone. Notes of bread and fruit cake. Strong and boozy

Felt obligated on 1/20 - sweet and boozy - caramel, pine, brown sugar and some citrus - sweetness pushes back the bitterness. A treat (and the second half tomorrow something to look forward to).

2015 vintage for 1/20. Toasty brown color with minimal head. Big raisin, caramel, and prunes aroma. Still good carbonation in the beer with medium body. Rich flavors of aged dark fruits like raisins, prune, fig, and dates plus some toasty char.

Annual punishment date for bad purchases. Sept 2014 checking in. Murky and muddled. Taste is strong but better than nose. Only two more in the cellar until I’m free

2017 vintage. Smells delightful. Aged well. Still pretty hot on the Alcohol taste. It’s what to drink when it’s -6 outside 😀
