Thank you, Lee. Tastes like a resiny barleywine more than an IPA, but fantastic nonetheless.

No date on this bottle, but needs aging. Somewhat harsh. But I usually let these age for a few years

Good but weird. It’s tasty enough, but I haven’t had this in 4 years and might not have it again for another 4.

2017 bottle. I feel the hops dropped out and leaves it overly sweet for style now.

The King in the North with the King of the east coast IPAs. Very boozy but smooth with a sweet malt and good hop character. The beer doesn’t disappoint and neither did The King in the North!

Soft mouth feel and lasting peel bitterness. Way better on draft then bottle

Hop Wine. Pretty awesome and would certainly be a craving that not many other IPAs could fulfill but not necessarily the king of IPAs.

Nose is vanilla. Palate is toffee, caramel, butterscotch, honey. Only a hint of bitter hoppiness at the end, hoped for more. Boozy AF but smooth. Dogfish before Phish show #29.

6 y.o. bottle split with my brother. Really in a nice sweet spot - caramel, toffee, lemon, pinesol, vanilla frosting, moderate alcohol presence, full-bodied. Surprised by the prominent pine and citrus notes at this age.

Checking this in as a formality, as I just checked in the 2018 vintage.

Popped this open after having Flying Dog 18 at Beerheads and both are similar! Both around 18% and barleywine sweet! 18 is smoother than 120 which has a little more bitter boozy bite 🍻😍 like born🍻

Made a new beer buddy on last trip through the DFW Metroplex. He saw us off on the road home with a 2017 bottle of “120 Minute IPA” Imperial Double IPA from Dogfish Head Brewery, Milton, Delaware - one of the best sips I’ve had in a while. Salud! 🍺
