All the wood without the booze. Very oaky. Very tasty. Easy to drink.

Toasted wood and dark fruits. Soft vanilla coated plum and golden raisin with a whisper of fig. Phenomenal sipper on this 90 degree day. 🥵🍻

So great and [usually] readily available. We don't reach for this one nearly enough.

This is damn good. Tastes like the embers of a campfire built by your own hands with oak you split yourself.

One of the better brews I've had. Taste is close to Kasteel Donker.

Immense nose of overripe apples, cocoa powder, tart cherries and vintage port. Taste is explosion of aged fruitcake, Black Forest torte, tiramisu and Mexican chocolate. Palo Santo wood offers unique tannic bite to an already outstanding brew. Blown. Away!

Amazing! Get this if you see it. You won’t regret it.

It's Palo Santo Marron, need I say more? Ok fine, the wood is basically bullet proof.

2014 bottle aged from our new friends from Northern Virginia. Great people to share a great beer.

SO GOOD! Aged 3+ years in Eric’s cellar. Poured thick & syrupy. Same over the the tongue. Not much head. So much creamy bourbon toffee malt. Powerful but balanced really well.

Super-late check-in from mid-February. Last of my archived Palo Santo Marrons. Delicious from first to last drop. Definitely a top-tier DFH offering.

This is a brown ale. Looks more stout or Porter not overly boozy and drinks easy, smooth not sweet and not as thick as some, I may have to get a to go.

Pours dark with a modest head and loads of suspended sediment. Smooth, sweet, malt start leads to a rich, strong body. Deep woody finish has lingering notes of chocolate. Still amazing after 4+ years in the bottle... (most of that time in my beer fridge.)
