Palo Santo Marron

Brown Ale - Imperial / Double

An unfiltered, unfettered, unprecedented brown ale aged in handmade wooden brewing vessels. The caramel and vanilla complexity unique to this beer comes from the exotic Paraguayan Palo Santo wood from which these tanks were crafted. Palo Santo means "holy tree" and its wood has been used in South American wine-making communities.

Popped an old one. Think it said 2018. Smooth, not oxidized.

Pours dark brown almost black, lots of oaky wood, smooth and a smidge of vanilla on the end.

$13.99 a pack. Woody, thick body. Wood finish. Cinnamon? Smoke? Vanilla arrives as this warms up. Lot going on here.

*The chances you take, the people you meet, the people you love, and your faith. That's what's going to define you " Denzel Washington Aged in wood with a Carmel vanilla complexity. Palo Santo means holy tree. With a 12% in the tank it comes out smooth.
