Maybe my memory of it is cloudy but seems way less spruce-y and less bitter than the previous bottled versions. It's ok just a bit of a disappointment.

Great art, better than a Canadian Tux, but too sweet

I can’t remember the last time I had DFH, but I love this flavor profile. Very bright, floral, caramel, and sharp resinous pine, then a very strong cooling mint quality, which normally would get a no from me dog, but it is complex and unique. Stellar.

Seasonal brew made with pine needles, very smooth and not overly pine flavored. A light woodsy flavor with hops and smooth finish. Beautiful amber color.

Triumphant return of one of my all time favorites. Cleared out the shelf at my local store.

Pays homage to the deep back country woods outdoorsmen of Central,PA. Pale ale with Spruce tips. Absolutely easy drinking and crushhable! Thanks Bud!!

I don’t really buy bigger beers too often any more, it doesn’t taste like 8.5% that’s for sure. I can see a 4pk of this being a yearly fall seasonal line up.

Different profile than I normally go for but took MH’s suggestion.

Thought I’d had this before but it doesn’t look I rated it before. Very nice and crisp. No overpowering with the spruce nibs which can be a problem with these beers. Pretty to look at too.

Maltier than expected with some sweeter notes to complement. Not super bitter or citrusy overall
