Still as good as the day it was bottled... probably my favorite batch of wws before the special variants

Has held up impressively well for 14 years. Deep dark roast nd chocolate w a strong barley character shining through amidst the dark chocolate, black licorice, earthy roast, nd dark fruit notes. There also seems to be a somewhat moldy taste to it as well

A lot of alcohol to this one even at 12 years old.

Held up pretty well. Boozy. Not sweet. Burn. Roast. Anise.

I shouldn't be surprised that this has held up amazingly. Hear our thoughts on Episode 500 of @cbcast here: https://craftbeercast.com/?p=2979

It’s fine. Old, sure. It’d be interesting to see what it’s like fresh

Still a great beer and one that ages as well as anything out there.

Wondering if this is the oldest beer I have had to date. Aged well… very port like.

Cellared for 10.5yrs. Weird flavors of fusil alcohols, medicinal chocolate and slight bandaid.

Complements of Carl way back in the day for some assassin. Delicious after sitting for 10 years

10 years, perfect aging time. Little alcohol bite, very smooth. Very complex.

Lost some “boozy” but makes up for it in “rich” and “chocolate.” Still phenomenal.

Def improved with age, guess around peak, very solid but proly not worth 10 yrs effort. 4.35

Not boozy at all. Raisiny and mellow, no noticeable oxidation.

S/O my dudes Kevin and Mike who let me have 3 ounces of this…. It should be illegal for a 9 year old beer to taste this good
