Fan-fricking-tastic. Chocolate, caramel taste with a subtle booziness. Gets richer the more it warms up. It’s a religious experience that requires it to be shared. Thankfully, I have more and will share; this is a test tasting.

Kentucky Breakfast Stout (KBS) (2016) 12.4%
Doing a tasting of 2016 to 2022. Great aroma, tastes of bourbon, chocolate, and coffee, aged extremely well.

What a delightful beer. Hazy, pineapple, slightly bitter, refreshing, and supremely crushable. Recommended.

4 Giants is a classic. This is close to the love I feel for that beer. Damn fine imperial hazy IPA and very much worthy of the 4 Giants name.

If you made me choose between this and the hazelnut KBS, I’d be hard pressed to pick only one. An excellent KBS variety.

Exceptional brown ale. While it’s 12%, it is extremely smooth with no boozy taste.

Lost some “boozy” but makes up for it in “rich” and “chocolate.” Still phenomenal.

Yes, this is a classic Founder’s beer. Not “classic” in a bad, old way, but “classic” in that it must be sampled again. To remember how a great beer tastes. It never goes out of style.
