World Wide Stout

Stout - Imperial / Double

Brewed with a ridiculous amount of barley, World Wide Stout is dark, rich, roasty and complex. This ageable ale clocks in at 15-20% ABV and has a depth more in line with a fine port than with a can of cheap, mass-marketed beer.

Bought on a whim. I’m an IPA bitch. Bit too much. Not my move.

With a high IBU I was expecting this to be bitter and chewy but it’s surprisingly smooth. Dark roasty chocolate. It’s boozy but not a “punch you in the teeth” (in a good way) as a Black Tuesday

LN. Rich and dark roasty. Some creaminess and smooth, especially for the abv.

I have never had a stout from Dogfish Head. This was damn good. It's honesty everything you want in a stout. Dark, smooth, creamy. The ABV is unreal. I would hughly recommend to all. Cheers!

Brew date 2016. Taste date 2023. Super dark very ominous. Like a nicely charred dark chocolate marshmallow with hints of vanilla bean. Supper slow sipper. Our batch was probably close to 20%.

5+ years on this - roasty malt, toffee, cocoa, coffee note - boozy with a warming hit and earthy bitterness. Great.

Vintage 2002. Yes, 21 years aged. Thanks to @Paul K. For the beer! 23% at bottling. Second sip was decadent. Deep aged barleywine. Coats the tongue

Lots of malt flavor that ebbs to a crisp hops that lingers on the palette and blends with Bourbon from the aged casks in a silky smooth symphony that lights up the taste buds.
