120 Minute IPA (2018)

IPA - Imperial / Double

Clocking in at 15-20% ABV, 120 Minute IPA is continuously hopped with a copious amount of high-alpha American hops throughout the boil and whirlpool, and then dry-hopped with another pallet of hops. Unfiltered and abundently hoppy, it's the Holy Grail for hopheads! We brew 120 Minute IPA a few times a year, but it goes fast. If you find some grab a few bottles -- some to enjoy and some to age.

4 years is a great spot. Love the barleywine-like flavors it's gotten to. Deep maltiness and richness. Somewhat syrupy sweet but not overpowering. Lots of honey. Very delicious. Long malty rich finish. Thanks Sam!

Grew on me, a sipper almost like a spirit. Not my style, but respectable.

They say it ages well, but I only like it fresh. Just not for me when it's aged.

what can I say about this icon of a beer. All the nuisances that make 120 min a magical elixir. My wife said looking into the cellar “OMG you have a year’s worth of beer!” Well we’re coming up on 5 years now.

A gift…Echhhhhhh…first time trying it…god this is a challenge. It’s still bitter in a weird way even tho the hops have disintegrated into nothingness. At least it gets you nice and warm after a few chokes. I have to give it a 3.75 for the artistry.

What a special beer. More Dark Strong Ale than IPA, just minus the Belgian yeast presence. Thanks Pace N. for saving this for me

Dangerous with how easy this drinks for 17%. Sweet barley with syrupy, decadent hops. Stunning.

I’m bringing a few of the big boys out of the cellar. 3 years old and still massive hop notes that are smooth and boozy.
