Drinking again and she's a sipper! Super boozy and jammy, would be good with some stinky cheeses. Definitely burns the chest.

Don't remember what vintage it said in the store at Dogfish, and can't read the date unfortunately. 03/15/1? is what I can make out.

How holy Berry. Very tart smelling but so much berry going on. This is a slow sipping beer.

Bottled: June 2018. Regretfully, time was not kind to this little fella… Heavily oxidized, muddy brown pour w/some fruit sweetness & a hint of alcohol warmth. “Fruit-y”, but individual fruits are undistinguishable; drinks like an old ale… Which it is.

Oh baby, this was a doozy. At 18%, a little boozy for my liking but I’ll try anything once.

Bottled 2 months ago? Very hot alcohol burn. Tastes like berry jam.

Its trying to be a good beer, but just misses the mark. The fruit is too quickly overpowered by the booziness leaving neither fully enjoyable.

Welch's grape juice + booze. Shout-out to my local shopnsave for mishandling this and placing 5 bottles of this baby in their make-your-own 6 pack fridge. Yes I will take 5 bottles of a 2 year old aged DFH beer for 12$ and change, thank you very much! 👀

Somewhere between 3.75 and 4. It’s good for sipping.

Think I’ll save the other one and let it age but boozy and jammy.

Aroma is more malty than fruity. Color is deep amber to purple, depending on the lighting / angle. Flavor profile is plumb brandy, a little Shiraz, and a touch of blackberry at the end. Surprisingly no alcohol burn at 18% ABV.

Very berry. All the berries’ taste come Thru in the beer. Not bitter, and a touch would truly round out this beer

Boozy wow factor (18%)...but enjoyable berry on the back end. Thanks for spreading the wealth Eddie C.

~2+ year aged. Deep fruity notes. Aged well enough. Just wanna acknowledge I see it's aged well. Thanks, Dan.

Aged about 2 years? Maybe a little more. Very fruity and a strong ale (duh lol)

Like heavy grape wine almost. Thanks bro, you got this for me a couple years ago!

Tasty but not a multiple in a row type for me. The berry flavors are very strong and has a kind of wine taste to it. Enjoyable but was expecting a bit more, especially for the price on this one.
