Bottled 21 Nov 2014. 18% ABV. Smell is caramel and raisins. Taste is the same. Jaysus this held up fantastically.

2014 November 21st. Thanks Chicago C. Smells like Feigling. Tatest like molasses, raisins, and something your cousin brought out in a Mason jar in winter.

Bottled 12/18. Almost 2 years of aging gives it a creamier mouthfeel with less burn on the finish. Mmmm. Yummy.

Booze, smells like raisins, brown sugar and malt. It’s actually a solid beer...just think it’s gonna kick me in the arse.

Very well done! My first reaction was that the flavor is complex... but very good.

Raisins, brown sugar, and alcohol. Got a lot smoother as it warmed up, but definitely boozy. Been looking at this one for a while and it did not disappoint. Like an alcoholic bread pudding in a bottle

Surprisingly light given the amount of booze. Defined flavors and smooth finish. Very little aeration.

I aged it for a full year and wow this was amazing and so many flavors.

Cranky that’s good!! I’m looking for the raisins but the brown sugar and ABV hit me before I find them. I can live with that......

God DAMN. Aging since 2014, this bad boy is not too boozy. It’s a perfect mix of sweet and boozy with its RAAAAISIN ass. This is an extremely good beer. I would buy again, although it’s fuckin’ spensive.

Not overly sweet with dried fruit (raisins) very smooth and dangerous at 16% abv. Bottled on 12/20/18

A big yet smooth Belgian strong dark ale at 16.5ABV. Bottle in ‘14, flavorful brown ale, with a faint touch a sweetness. Really enjoy the beers produced and creativity of this brewery!

Damn! VERY strong as expected, beautifully complex

Aged 2 years in the cellar. Booze has settled down nicely. Heavily malt forward, toffee sweetness, and a little dried dark fruit character- mostly figs, but also some raisins. Nice alternative to all the big stouts. Would buy again—not at full price tho89

Another one that is coming across Hot. Must be something with the aging. Still damn good!!!

Aw, HELL yeah! They say it's brewed with raisins, but it's clearly a big-ass Belgian ale... and it's great! Thank you so much, Brett! I'll take your advice and age a couple of bottles.

Fantastic night cap after a few already checked in 🔥IPAs and some of that double oaked Woodford. This was sweet and super easy to crush. Caramel raisin. Good stuff especially with the hidden Vitamin ABV.

First time on draft. Strong, obvs. Big malty toffee, raisin flavor. Not for the weak of constitution, but aging it helps.

Absolutely smooth and delicious, definitely let it warm to get the optimal taste

It’s very good… And they don’t put the alcohol content on the label!

Found this gem yesterday. Sweet, boozy and way too smooth.
