OMG!! 18% in this. It taste amazing. Great deep flavor. Brown sugar to mellow everything and make it no bad aftertaste. Sweet and a little sour but soo good.

The fact that this was so huge and implacable after 5 years in the bottle is a testament to the stature of this brew. Tons of sweet fig and raisin flavor with light funk and rich malt with burned brown sugar. Glad I got to try it. Great beer.

Boozy, the brown sugar and raisin are definitely present. Good but how anyone could have a whole bottle is beyond me

Had to bring home a growler of this one and sip it while enjoying a nice steak. You can definitely pull out the brown sugar and raisins. It's boozy but super smooth. I'm impressed and glad I tried it.

Strong. Original d’etra was way better. Possibly aging will help.

Victory beer from Delaware for President elect Joe Biden! 🍻

Had this one aging for about a year. Deep copper w/ small tan head that is quickly gone. Nose is molasses, toffee, dark fruit. Brown sugar and raisins dominate palate with a boozy kick. High carb keeps the body pretty light.

Heavy feel, smells like wine. Tastes like a dark red wine but without the dry feel. Very impressive overall taste.

Much better after a little aging. Malty. Lots of raisin. Just a little boozy.

Finally trying this relic of craft beer. An odd beer for sure and I can see why people don’t like it. Super boozy and earthy, and not quite barleywine enough for me to love it. Enjoy it for what it is

Bottled 12/22/18. Taste the raisins and brown sugar. For an ale has a thicker consistency. Has a bit of a bite.
