I've wanted this ever since i heard it existed, and im not disappointed. The bourbon is strong enough, but not enough to take away from the monster base. It really mellows things out nicely.. Will check back in a year or so....

Great balanced blend of thick chewy chocolate, coffee, and bourbon. Mellowed nicely after a year.

11/19 bottle. Big, bold chocolate boozy bourbon ball. Delicious through the glass. How they cover 18% ABV, seems impossible and it definitely catches up to you!

Nice hint of the bourbon barrel aging really elevates this otherwise Carmel roast toasty brew. Dogfish just does it right. Every. Time.

W/ reg World Wide. Bottled 11/2019. Tastes vanilla/bourbon & less choco/molasses/licorice, no hoppy. BUT, is MUCH more boozy! I assume because of the BB. Def not for those sensitive to alcohol. Overall, I like it more because of the absence of licorice.

Had to go for the 2nd to compare the Burbon. Love the nose, full flavor. Boozy, little burn but clean finish. Flavorful. Different than regular but great in the Barrel aged way.

You need to sip this one. At 18% you don’t want to much. It will sneak up on you

This stout is too roasty without the barrel, but time with bourbon oak smooths all the rough edges

Rich bourbon, caramel, coconut, oak aroma. Thick, roasted malt, tons of molasses, dark fruit, lots of oak, smooth for abv. Reminds me of some BCBS. Ticks all the Bourbon Barrel Aged Stouts for me!

Bottled on 11/2019! Love how the booziness increased on the palate not so much on the aroma! Sweet coffee finish! 🍻🤙

Dogfish really found a way to make my popcorn taste much better by adding some bourbon taste to this fantastic stout.

Holy snap! Finally decided to Crack this bad boy and did not disappoint. Total caramel roasty goodness with serious bourbon kickass finish. 18% killer. Must get more!
