It says bottled on 06/28/18. It does not say the ABV on the bottle. I’ve looked. Very good. Def a red wine / port feel. Loved it. All the berries mix well. It also says ages well. So get a 6er and keep some in the basement.

Jammy red wine seems accurate. A good little kick but still drinkable for 17%.

Age didn’t do it favors. Also probably didn’t have as consistent an environment for aging as I needed lol

Waaaaayyyyyyy too boozy for me. Strong profile of flavors. Lingering tart.

Still an abomination of regular Fort but aging gracefully

Bought at the brewery in summer 2018. Heavy fruitiness of all the red fruits (raspberry, blackberries, etc.), plus some plum. But it’s an enormous boozy liquid, difficult to get malt or something else. Spicy a lot. Like cherry wine under a Christmas tree.

Still nice fruit notes. Kind of like a brandy now honestly. Strong alcohol presence and quite a bitter, drying aftertaste.

Berry forward, and very jammy. This is like a sweet port wine. This is super boozy. The booze flavors dominate the finish. I don’t dig the flavor (not the booziness) of the finish.

Says it was bottled in 2018, so going with this vintage. Agree that it seems like a barleywine.

Pulled out a cellar beer on a random Thursday 🤷🏼♀️ Less medicinal than the last one; a little boozy but taste belies the 17.5% abv.

From the cellar! Bottled 6/28/18 and Sam says to "lay it down for a couple years" and I'm a rule follower so here we are. Lots of sediment. Thick. Muted berries with a warm finish.

Boozy but no longer hot. Blended berries come through as it warms.

Cracked open this oldie as the doctor ordered. A lot more fruit forward. Still the boozy punch

Aged well, wish I had a fresh one for comparison. Deep and rich

Lost some carb over the years but it tastes nearly the same as fresh. Fig newtons soaked in high abv backyard wine.

This is no joke, heavy hitter FOR sure. Heavy accents of fermented fruit. Definitely the body of a STRONG ale. They should call this Terry Crews Fort TBH.

Wow - lots more fruit, but well done, not overly fruity in a sweet way

Tastes a little like wine but still not like it’s 17.2%

Solid day 2 courtesy of Dogfish Head! At 18% I’ll be sipping this for a bit.
