Doesn’t even drink like an IPA with the bourbon barrel aging. Super smooth!

Very barleywine like, not surprising here based on 120 Minute historically. Not too hot, tbh. Definitely some barrel notes, but can't necessarily pick out any specific flavor notes

Interesting, compared to the regular 120. Sweet. Thanks Michael!

Delicious, only slight boozy front end but the barrel aging smooths out at the end

I do like this year version. Might have to get more! Kinda reminds me of a BBA barleywine.

Sweet raisin aroma and flavor. So smooth with minimal booziness. Drank with very little chill on it and it was incredible! Absolutely well done!

May the fourth be with you. May need a little time in the cellar to become a Jedi.

After trying multiple vintages of the classic offering, it’s super cool to try a barrel-aged version of this. What’s more, I think it’s really cool to see Sam Adams and DFH coming together as a business and as collaborators. Sweet, boozy, drinkable AF.

I was always one of the people who enjoyed 120 fresh, and this is a great tweak with it! Glad to see it get distributed.

Have always liked the regular version but love this version! Really smooth for a 17% beer!

Utopias Barrel-Aged Imperial IPA. Rich and smooth for a massive IPA. Notes of dark fruit and raisins and slightly sweet. Moderate hop bitterness lingers after each sip.

Like a barrel aged American barleywine. Bitter resin, caramel, and dark fruits.
