This is the 2022 iteration and is beginning to mellow a bit, but is still intense. Crisp and malty sweet, but beginning to deepen. For me, this is still a blessing from Gambrinus.

Delicious “Event Beer!” Love the barrel aged Utopias taste. Treat yourself -so worth it. Force yourself to sip, while you savor and enjoy. Don’t expect a thick straight bourbon barrel aged mouthfeel type of brew; it is an IPA that anyone could enjoy!

Wow. That sums this up. Hoppy but super smooth. Malty and bitterness are spot on. Sweetness is perfect for a good barleywine. So tasty! Highly recommended. Handle with care!

WOW! Philosophy-wise, tough to rate something a 5.0. However, this made me question that. You get the 120 minute flavor, you get some raisin fruitiness, you get the flavor of the Utopias in a WAY TOO smooth of a beverage for the ABV!

Holy moly. Did a side-by-side tasting with the traditional 120 and this barrel-aged version really stands out. Can’t say better or worse but it’s definitely more INTENSE! Hops very present with a cherry-Raisin finish. Amazing
