Can't believe this is 17%. The alcohol is really well hidden (but sneaks up on you quickly). Has the maltiness and hoppiness expected from DFH 120. I haven't yet had the pleasure of trying Utopias so I have no reference, but the barrel aging adds vanilla.

Take one of Dogfish Head’s best beers and age it in barrels from one of Sam Adams’ best beers (that I still need to try BTW)?! Why, YES!! You get awesomeness!

Man.... I REALLY wanted to luv this. But I didn't. The bourbon flavor just isn't for me, especially mixed with beer. Unfortunately dumped it out after 4 or 5 sips

Cap came loose during shipping, so some spilled and it’s a little flat. Have another bottle that made it that made it intact, so I’ll rate that one. It’s boozy af though.

It’s good, but I don’t find it to be amazing. I’m rating higher than I would instinctively because it is so ambitious and I think that should be rewarded. It’s not too syrupy for something so strong but I don’t get much hop from it.

Similar to cellared 4-5 yr old 120. Utopias barrel added so much but the hops are still fresh!

Wow! Flavors abound! Drinks more like a barrel aged barleywine than an ipa. Great brew!! Be interested to see how it ages.

Huge aromas and flavourful offering with abv to match. Good (!?!) thing it's in a smaller bottle? Sitting watching the sun set on my last night in the USA calls for an epic beer. Last one in the shop too. Like a barley wine but but better.

Pretty remarkable. If you told me it was a barleywine I'd agree. So many flavors going on it's really amazingly tasty. Thanks to my brother who surprised me with it. Good job Dogfish.

Not much to write home about on the nose of this beer, but it makes up for it in the taste. It’s a BA barley wine at this point.

A ton of the Utopias comes through. Some of the hops and bitterness of the IPA are still present, but they're mostly overtaken by Utopias. It's boozy, but pretty well balanced, I think. It's good, but pretty rich.

This beer is a fantastic twist on the original 120 minute. Whata great idea to BA it. The Boston Beer partnership really upped this beer’s game. barleywine quality for sure.

Bucket lister! 120 Minute IPA aged in Utopias barrels! Boozy, sweet, caramelly, smooth. Like the standard 120 Minute, but sweeter. A great one!
