Wow. Big, boozy, and barrel aged. Quite good - didnt even realize I bought the barrel aged until I tasted it

This is definitely sweeter than the 2017. Still has the same notes as the other 120 so it is a solid beer but I would not pay another $40 for another 4 pack

LCI from earlier in the week. Deep copper pour with quickly fading off-white crown. Bourbon, oak & caramel dominate aroma; taste follows with vanilla, brown sugar, a touch of citrus, pine & distinct alcohol warmth from the otherwise well-hidden 17% ABV.

Merry Christmas, friends with great taste in beer! For 17%, this is not nearly as boozy as one would expect (but is a great way to get buzzed on 1 drink). Reminiscent of barleywine.

A New Year deserves a big beer. Lovely hint of the utopia barrel. Wonderfully viscous with a little sweetness, maybe raisins or molasses. Happy new year.
