If you were going to start a year of sobriety...this is always a great choice!!!

Label says 16%, definitely not as aged as my 2018 which Iโm drinking as well, not quite as boozy but still a good toned down barley wine taste! Still boozy but by 2022 should be another great version ๐ป๐

Had this last night...and fell asleep on the couch as a result. Truly outstanding big time hop bomb. The syrupy, resinous hop flavors swim in a malt mix that absolutely satisfies one's desire for a deep and layered treat of a drinking experience!

Ok, this was good. Lots of resin, pine, clean hue. But had some legit burn and itโs a little obnoxious this fresh. We followed it with a 2013, and it was crazy how much age really changes these.

In the past, Iโve loved this beer. Current year is a straight up booze bomb. Doesnโt have that nice hop bite from years past. 2020 is just full of disappointment all around. Bottle with lots of sediment too, which may be a factor.

For my 2500th unique beer how could I pick anything less. I would like to thank Jake Ken and Matt for all their help getting here.

Sadly this in not as good as 120โs from the 2000โs. I still have bottles of โ03 & โ07 that are obviously a different recipe. This beer is more like 105 minutes. It lacks depth, body & complexity that aging can not help. Still a good beer, Just not 120!
