120 Minute IPA (2017)

IPA - Imperial / Double

Clocking in at 15-20% ABV, 120 Minute IPA is continuously hopped with a copious amount of high-alpha American hops throughout the boil and whirlpool, and then dry-hopped with another pallet of hops. Unfiltered and abundently hoppy, it's the Holy Grail for hopheads! We brew 120 Minute IPA a few times a year, but it goes fast. If you find some grab a few bottles -- some to enjoy and some to age.

More pronounced hops and bitterness than 2018, flavor not as malty as 2018, bitterness lingers

Apples. Reminds me of their Barleywine. I’m not mad at it. Sweetness, little carb left. Not cloying at all. Ultra weird brown though. Still a slight burn on the finish. Def a supper. Wowza!!!!! 4.15

Faded some. I wouldn't want to risk their claim of aging it for a decade, but it's still enjoyable at 6 years.

Another year having this after a cellar. This thing is a barleywine now. What a great idea, Adam V. Let’s cellar 4 more.

Actually had a customer bring this one in to me who has had it laid down since 2017, ….I’ve had other years and this is right in line with the usual profile. Hoppy for sure and all the booze you expect

Six years on, it's starting to lag a bit. Great bitterness and pleasant warming with a woody character, but there's also a muddy malt aspect. Not as clean or crisp as it used to be.

I liked it when it was younger, but it’s great anyway. Toasty malty… thanks George

MAN! That still kicks. Like an American style barleywine. Much more drinkable than previous versions I’ve had. The 7yrs did some work, honestly could go another 2-3 w/o any concerns

Strong aroma on the nose, you can tell it’s strong but really sweet, almost like a rum. Super malty and boozy, but goes down surprisingly smooth. Not crazy about the flavor. Great experience though, oldest beer I’ve ever had at this point. Thanks Dan K.

bottled 10/26/17. Much more malt forward, borderline sherryish. Tons of stone fruity flavors. Still pretty alcohol potent, almost like a light bourbon.

Well, never been a big 120 min fan, but a six year old keg? Why not? Still a malt bomb but here it is not trying to be something else. Not half bad...a booze bomb!!

Ok a seven year old keg and I can't resist...even if I should. I mean it isn't a bad beer, but it's a malty,.boozy, heavy pour.

Little night cap. Boozy, more like a barley wine at this point, but then again you’ll get that from 18%:)
