Tastes more like a barley wine at this point. Not upset at all about that.

Bottled in 2017. Sweet, hoppy , and slightly boozy. Just a solid beer when aged.

Maybe to long? Wasn't bad but i could get the initial off flavors of it turning. Refrigerated entire time

Drinks like barleywine, gotta do a fresh vs aged. This is good, Sarah does not agree lol. Reminds me of Sam Adams corked beers. I wish the 2017 KU roster was in this tournament. Fuck, why do we always end up watching ridiculousness

11/16/17. From the cellar. Tons of sediment. Very boozy; almost overpowering. I think I let this age too long...and I think I’m saving one for next year too haha

120s for 420 😆 Nose is big resiny and bold. Flavor now almost starts salty, malt is strong but booziness is here front and center (in a good way). Doesn't burn, jist becomes a strong player. Wonderful and very different than fresh!

Holding up. Lots of caramel and malt coming through. Still boozy!

Saving this one for a good time. Potentially my last 2017 bottle. Cheers Scott L.

Unexpectedly found this in my unpacking! It wasn’t cellared properly for the last 3 years, but it’s still decent and boozy as hell!

No head. My daughter said it looks like apple cider and she's spot on. Intense and focused dried apricot & peach, fruitcake, and honeyed apple, massively rich mouthcoating palate, alcohol speaks but in check, hop driven finish buried by rich fruit.

I have never had a better beer! Heaven in a glass!

Hoppy late birthday to me. 4 years has mellowed this beauty out nicely. Huge ABV but still smooth. Boozy and delicious

4 years later! Definitely more of a barleywine character now, but still a bit boozy and unbalanced. Certainly much better than fresh -- oxidation has added some wonderful flavors to this. Persimmon notes?

Aged till today. Drinking with and in celebration of Katherine’s birthday. Aroma of cherry and sweet vermouth. Flavors follow suit with a solid malt backbone.

DOB: 5/16/2017 - 4Y 2D. As expected, it’s a barley wine at this point

"Fresher" and more complex than last bottle, more honeyed nose, hop bitterness really speaks this time, still buried under massive honeyed fruit, 1 minute+ long finish, amazing depth and balance between malt, hoppy fruit and bitterness, outstanding!
