I can’t believe I found this at Kroger. Better yet, I can’t believe I spent this much on a damn 4-pack. Good, but certainly not worth this kind of cash.

Very sweet and malty. Tastes like an American barleywine, some hops left.

Well worth sitting on for a year or so before opening... About 1.5 yrs on this one and it's surprising how hoppy it still is, but the malt definitely dominates the profile

2016-2019 120 Minute IPA vertical. Of these, the 2019 is the least barleywine-esque.

The holy grail of DFH IPAs. A little boozier going back to 2019. So good… but will knock you on your ass!

Last of my aged 120 collection. Smooth & boozy with a light hoppy kick. Malty sweetness with a slight molasses finish

Can't recall if this is the year Scott and I had fresh at the brewery that we thought was very boozy. This is still a bit boozy.

Vintage 2019, crazy how good this is for an 18% beer.

“Brewed to a colossal 45°P, boiled for a full 2 hours while being continually hopped with high alpha American hops, dry-hopped every day in the fermenter for a month, & aged for a month on whole leaf hops.” Smooth with an imperial IPA bitter harsh finish.

Wow did this sweeten up over time. I’m getting a sweet malty flavor like brown sugar. Hop flavor has really dissipated. Honey note is still there. I think I like it better aged than fresh. 4.15 on this one.
