The last of my stash. Not sure if they'll ever make the base beer again. Still prefer the non wood aged version but this is still great. The original version was my first beer to really splurge on and I still remember drinking it on Rainey St. in Austin.

That was good! There’s a dryness but it was expected with oak.

Dry smokiness to it. Cheers to all weekend soccer tournaments!

2019 bottle. Sweet, woody and a little fruity? Better after a few years.

Love this creativity from Dogfish Head. It’s got stuff goin’ on that ain’t your average stuff goin’ on!

This stout is a fusion of a Russian Imperial Stout aged in American oak and an Ethiopian Tej Honey Beer aged in Paraguayan Palo Santo Wood, resulting in a thick, rich brew. The wood-aged flavors are subtle but definitely present.

One sip of BB will remind the most cantankerous of old school beer nerds why DH were and still are a top tier player. Pouring a bold pitch black with a small but resilient brown head, the nose is complex. Plum, wine coffee, black licorice, and soy sauce

Good depth and palate. Smooth with a touch of bite that lingers.

Not a particular fan of Dogfish Head, but this one is right up my ally. Alcoholic, and great flavor. Good sipping beer!

Old school. A big roasty, oak-aged stout brewed in concert with a Palo-aged African Tej with Zambezi Honey

9% Stout brewed with honey. This is very nice. Stout at the start and honey on the finish.
