Tastes like a barleywine after 5 years and I love it. Can't wait to try the next one after a decade or so

I’ll admit, I was kinda afraid to drink this. But I’m glad I went for it. It’s perfectly boozy in all the right ways. I think I love it.

Pretty darn good after almost 6 years. I think I’ll save my other ones longer for science but had to open one on 12/01/20 since we won’t get that again for a hundred years

I mean I have to give it props for holding up. Still lots of carb. Great caramel flavor. Not too much bite. If you still got it drink it!

One of the best barley wines when aged properly. Delicious. #HappyNationalBeerDay

Lots of caramel and toffee flavors. Also some nuttiness. Essentially a Barleywine. Really good at 6 years!

After-hours share at work. This has aged beautifully at 6 years old. One of the classics! Respect!

That aged nicely. At 18% gotta prime the liver for Remembrance Day weekend

Wow - it’s definitely entered hero territory. Hop cognac

Might look like sludge in the pic, but it is drinking damn good now. Has basically transformed into an imperial brown ale that is giving off notes of wood/oak, raisin, toffee, and a little smoke. Can certainly tell that the ABV has increased, lol. 4.4

This had aged beautifully. Nice bitterness in the back to balance the sweetness up front

WOW. Aged since 2015… imperial IPA to the definition. WOW, just wow

From way back in the cellar, smoothed out considerably. 😴

Happy 1/20 Day! One of my perennial favorites, even after all these years. Boozy, sweet, and strong. I’m of the opinion 120 IPAs should be aged at least 1-2 years to be best enjoyed. The exception being if it’s on tap
