Wow - reminds me of stouts I had in the uk. Reminds of wine, port, or sherry. Tannic but smooth. I had no idea it was 17% until I was obliterated afterward.

Quasi 2nd-3rd shift sleeping pill, smell and taste the booze with a nice chocolate taste and warms the belly.

Very good. Aroma of the Utopias, fig and caramel. A bit sweet on the tongue.

The experience of drinking Utopias is often described as ritualistic. Dark, rich, roasty, and complex. Good all the way through and excellent warmed with a hint of chill remaining. Taste as described!

Lovely barrel- almost a sweet finish to it. Cannot wait to see how this ages. Thanks John S. !

12 Beers of Christmas 🎄 3rd Day - a lil thin for a stout but not thin on flavor. Drinks a bit like a barleywine yet smooth for 17%, but that’s how Utopias rolls. Needz to get more so I can share it with my boo 🤗

Big flavor, big booze, but not a big burn. Will be fun to see how it ages.
