To call this an IPA is a stretch. If anything, it's a strong ale. Awesome flavor though. Should be called 120 seconds...because that's how long it takes to get buzzed after your first sip..

The smell gave me a shiver but the taste was like a fantastic port. Really good.

LCi. Served still. Brown sugars, dark fruit (plums and raisin), leathery good oxidation traits.

Wow! It feels like a cross between a barleywine and a Manhattan (with it being still, and having a sherry backbone.) A year out i think it's better!

Definitely getting the sherry. Very smooth and not nearly as sweet as I was expecting. This would be dangerous in quantity since it drinks like a 7% even though it IS boozy tasting. A paradoxical beverage. Glad to share with Kathleen M.

Final holiday/special beer? Maybe, but a really good one! Saved best for last??

It’s 120 Day at Dogfish, and what better way to celebrate the occasion than a 1:20pm toast with this gem. The sherry barrel character helps cover the heat, and the resulting toffee caramel candied ginger result is intoxicating indeed!

Really excellent- super smooth- barrel bleeds all the things that are too much in a 120 away and just softens and smooths a bit.

Wowza! This is freakin special. 15.4% punch in the face, but very drinkable. Caramel, toasted walnuts, maple yum.

Really smooth and warming. Way better than I expected.

Oh my. This is everything I love about 120, but with a magical depth that the sherry barrels added. Unctuous and smooth, sweet, but rich and delicate, too. Best way to celebrate Friday, the 13th.

Lately, it doesn’t matter how good the beer is…the next one is even better….
