8 years old and still boozy. Tastes a lot like I'm not going to work tomorrow

Prefer the 2013. Seems is retained more hop character, less alcohol.

Bottled on 3/27/14. Very malty, not as good as the '13 version last night. Very strong, sweet.

Bottle date rubbed off. Pretty sure it 2014, but might be 2012.

Still very strong, pretty surprised how much the booze comes through.

Last of the basement stash! Gotta break it out on 1/20, of course. Still tasting good.

Hops kept this one very tasty. Caramel apple with a faint whisper of jagermeister. Sadly carbonation was very low after almost ten years but no heat on this boozy treat.

Hops are virtually gone. Raisin and caramel flavors. Nice vintage bottle.

Aged beautifully. Smooth and boozy, notes of sherry. Seems appropriate to be enjoying the "holy grail for hopheads" in an actual grail. Well done with this glassware, Dogfish! 🍻

Another from the 10 year retirement vertical. Had some sediment, but oh so smooth.

Toffee and barley wine. Didn't seem like 18%, very smooth.

First VGN after I got married. It has mellowed out after 9 years in the bottle. Carbonation has faded, but still not too shabby. Think I'll open my 2016 sooner than later.

Nine years old. Heavy, rich, strong. I like 120 better fresh.

It says "Ages Well", right? Oldest IPA I've ever had. Bottled 09/17/14. It's now a Barleywine. And not a bad one at that.

Boozy! Mind as well be sucking on an extra strength Halls, covered with rubbing alcohol, and served on a bed of 2 week soggy tobacco leaves. Ah, yea kinda pleasant. 🤪
