Bought this almost 7 years ago. Pretty dusty. If everyone who drank this and rated it poorly got to taste it now they’d change their minds.

Definitely a beer that gets better with age. 7 y.o. bottle and absolutely spectacular. Thick chocolate-cherry cake with a touch of booze.

Finally opened after holding foe several years. Very sweet, coats the mouth with boozy chocolate and raisins

I believe I’ve had this since 2015. It doesn’t taste bad. Very strong/boozy.

So beer’s been in the bottle since 2015(?)…had it last in 2016. Much mellower tasting, still boozey…getting sleepy….zzzzz

My last Johnmay beer! :-(. Interesting. Thick. Sweet and sour cherry, maybe a smidge of chocolate. Nice slow sipper. Thanks John!

Five years later.. my goodness how this has changed. Mellow, creamy chocolate and cherry. Smooth and deliscious. Sweet but not too sweet.
