Not sure if it’s rated so highly because it’s a legendary and mythical beer and it is well done, or if people actually enjoy the flavor. No burn although it’s obvious you’re drinking 20%. Just too much bitterness. Unique and glad to try it but 1 and done

Much better than I remembered. Super hoppy, 1000 IBU’s sounds about right, good bit of burn on the back end. May need to buy another to let it age.

This is an expensive beer, so it’s a shame I can’t buy a couple of 4 packs to keep in storage. Quite tasty.

Not what it once was, just boozey not much raisin or hop flavor. May need time but I have had a ton of this tap and bottle and don’t see it getting there

Sweet malty nose. Stone fruit flavors in a boozy batch of hops. All delivered in an opaque deep amber-colored beer for sipping that tempts crushing. Sip. Enjoy.

The nose is strong in booze, yet sweet. Heavy malt character, with some of the most delish hops you’ve ever had. This year just improves upon the past year’s version. I’m afraid I might have to cut my night short after this one! 😱

Not sure if this is the correct 2022 at 20% & 1000ibus (YOW! Thanx for listing 'em!) but.......Mmmmm, fresh 120 minute ipa. See previous reviews of various vintages (and Pray for Mojo)......
