Always surprised by this one! The hops are there, but the malt and the alcohol flavors are ramped up.

I will say it's smooth for a 16.6%. I was expecting a kick in the face. Other than that, not much to it, malty. I guess I'm spoiled by the New England/Hazy style IPA's I guess it's good if you wanna get F'd quick 🤷♂️

Officially found it. I was introduced to it st a legal Beerfest about 10 years ago found it in Indiana on draft during the Indiana 500 been searching for it ever since I found it here and it is as amazing as it ever could be. It is my favorite IPA.

Always a fine taste. Really good beer to drink while smoking ribs.

I have a hard time finishing this. Not bad initially, but I don't need 12 oz of this. The alcohol is strong and sharp.

Smooth, but sharp at first. Definitely needs sipped.

Tastes like more like barleywine than a TIPA... nomnomnom

Boozy. Let’s see how it mellows in a year or two.

I would be losing money if I didn't buy it. Glactically mismarked at grocery store. This is like an $8 per bottle boozy beer

Had to drink this one without Will as we had a lot of big ABVs that night and didn’t get to this one. Next time! This is a savory beer to be sure.

Delightfully complex and high octane. Caramel and malt forward with boozy character reminiscent of a barleywine. Raw honey, dark fruit and fig, molasses, orange marmalade. Lingering nutty and earthy finish. A little spice. Herbal and hop oils. Musty malt.
