Punkin Ale (2022)

Pumpkin / Yam Beer

A full-bodied brown ale with smooth hints of pumpkin and brown sugar. We brew our Punkin Ale with pumpkin meat, brown sugar and spices. As the season cools, this is the perfect beer to warm up with.

Idk what they did to the recipe this year but i am not a fan. This doesn’t taste like it normally does.

I’m OD’ing on punkin beers already 😂 a bit thin and watery. Lacks depth. Slight bitterness.

It’s September 1, that means pumpkin beers are OK to drink. Time to take Odie for a walk

Nose is nice. Mouth isn’t pumpkin forward- more brown sugar and spices. Finish is complex and ok.

Tis the season! Let’s goooo! The king of ALL “punkin” beers! Hail to the King! Light body, smooth mouthfeel, amber hue. Sweet palate (sweeter than years past) but still balanced by beautiful spices of nutmeg and cinnamon with pumpkin. Ooof. Banger!

TAG

7% ABV Pumpkin Beer. Decent beer for the style with lots of pumpkin and enough brown sugar and lighter cinnamon and nutmeg.
