Super boozy, a little bitter chocolate. I wanted it to be better

Toasted coffee on the nose. Bitter finish closing into chocolate? Interesting.

Todays Sunday Morning Stout! Happy that 4 pack is gone, no bueno.

This may have been a good beer but the carbonation was lacking. Tasted like a 10 hr old oxidized stout. Sounds like a bad batch. Extremely disappointed.

White/green pepper notes from the coffee on the nose, taste brings a more roasty coffee notes with some chocolate and fudge. Smooth feel with a rounded bitterness and a touch of heat 🍻🖤🤘

No ABV on the bottle, but I'm pretty sure I'm not more awake after drinking it. My give-a-shitter is turned down low, which is just what I needed.

[8.23]. E decides to crack this; fuck it! Pepper (bell & white) via the coffee, but also roast & chocolate after. Slightest bit of heat from the 15+%🍻

Feels thin for being such a high ABV. Not bad though!

Bit of sour. Not much coffee note. Glad that I only bought one bottle instead of 4pk

Definitely unique. Huge coffee aroma upon opening. Flavor is cinnamon forward with very subtle maple syrup notes. The cinnamon flavor almost makes you think it's a Mexican mole style stout minus the peppers and vanilla. Unique but good, typical Dogfish.

I decided to revisit this. I wasn't a huge fan the first time. Coffee, cinnamon and maple syrup in the aroma. Taste has maple syrup and cinnamon first with coffee in the mid-palate and finish. Still quite bitter. Eh, oh well. Still a 3.75/5 for me.

Surprised this is so highly reviewed. A little thin for 15% and the breakfast stout component isn’t apparent. I get a decent imperial stout with a somewhat bitter and generic coffee flavor. Decent but not as good as I remember it being.

Roasty, definitely a bit boozy at 15%abv, powerful notes of coffee and cinnamon but not so much that it becomes spicy.

Ahhh, the end of tennis season, at 15.3%! Boozy and very heavy on the coffee.

Don’t get me wrong, it’s a good stout. But from what it advertises I’m only getting some coffee and barrel no maple at all. Think I prefer the regular worldwide stout version more.

it’s intense. but at 15+%, it manages to not be too hot, too boozy, or too sweet. no small task. the flavors from both the stout and the coffee are good and well balanced. definitely not something i’d drink regularly, but probably good once in a while.
