These are fantastic with about three years of age on them.

1-22-16 bottle pulled from cellar. Liking how well this is drinking now. Oak is most prevalent and maple/vanilla are, of course, faded, but good spice notes of cardamom and nutmeg from the age. Nice for a change up in style...solid 4

Dustin once called himself a #certifiedhophead for drinking this. Now I think he would tell you if you haven't had a beer from a well in Cambodia filtered by ancient beetle tusks you really aren't having beer at all.

It’s complex, trying to figure out what I am drinking is it beer, molasses, old coffee, or an ash tray. Not a favorite

Yep still not my thing. Hangover in a single bottle. Malt madness upside the peat profile is down #latertap #drinkthecellar

A heady aperitif after a hearty meal. Woody, vanilla, piney hops and thick, resiny body. Gift from Kip!

I get the maple, and definitely vanilla. A little sweetness to it, probably from the maple, would taste good with a big ole pile of pancakes! Thank you Michael F. for the bottle!

Another old ass IPA? Nope! Vintage 2008 Strong Ale brewed with peat smoked barley, organic juniper berries, vanilla & maple syrup then aged in oak tanks. Raisins, figs, and plums with a splash of vanilla, a hint of maple syrup, and a huge amount of oak.

I wish I knew the vintage but its a couple years old I think. The alcohol is completely absent. Soooo good.

Bottles 12/22/15. The nose was similar to a saison ale. Taste was much different than On the nose. Smoked hickory wood and maple. The age on this made for a perfect balance. Awesome brew

Campfire bacon on the nose, very subtle maple flavor and a peppery oak note on the finish. This is a nerd beer, but in a good way. One that is fun to pick apart. Definitely one of the more interesting brews I’ve ever had. Bottled 12/22/15
