Had this in the cellar since 2016 and wow, even better than when I drank the first bottle back then. Just a great English-style Old Ale with tons of malt complexity and citrus flavors in the mid-palate. 11%er.

Oh God, I’ve hit the point where stuff in my cellar is about to turn ten. Also, my back hurts.

Tobacco and honey. Label says this was copyright 1999, it's held up well.

Sweet, raisiny, spicy, smoky character. Strong alchohol content bt doesn't overwhelm the taste. Too distinctive to eat with most dinner meals.

Taste is reminiscent of a Fruiful Fort. A bit sweet and substantial

This old ale is still an outstanding tasting brew. It has aged well.

Jan 16 bottle. This has largely aged out. The oak is still present and there are remnants of that maple. I miss these DFH brews

2017 brew. Syrupy, oaky, w sweet maple and vanilla flava. Kind of boozy. Lable says it all. A real good drinker.

Blown away by how incredibly well this aged since I didn’t store it in the most ideal conditions. It was like some sort of fruity maple, vanilla sauce that wasn’t overly sweet because it was balanced by hints of smoke and oak. Bottled 12/22/15. Hid ABV.
