I wish I knew the vintage but its a couple years old I think. The alcohol is completely absent. Soooo good.

Had this in the cellar since 2016 and wow, even better than when I drank the first bottle back then. Just a great English-style Old Ale with tons of malt complexity and citrus flavors in the mid-palate. 11%er.

I'd pay $6 for this at home, so it's a steal at the restaurant.

This old ale is still an outstanding tasting brew. It has aged well.

2015 Vintage - Super smooth after 5 years! Mild maple, vanilla, and oak flavors. Still delicious after all these years. One of my favorites!

From 2016. Aging really brings out the wood characteristics and some smoky flavors. Really smooth!

Herbal and smokey aroma. Complex taste with notes of peated Scotch, dry vermouth and honeyed tea. 11%ABV barely noticeable. Dry finish.

2016 had this vintage when fresh I gave it a 4.25 this beer is incredibly complex and cellaring it definitely benefits it. Wow! Got one more I'll have in another five years see how it goes.

Bottled 1/22/16. Another one from the cellar, to facilitate a transition to autumn

Smoked cherry on the nose, with a rich and smooth malty center. Maple and vanilla are just barely registering. Born in 2006!

2017 brew. Syrupy, oaky, w sweet maple and vanilla flava. Kind of boozy. Lable says it all. A real good drinker.

I get the maple, and definitely vanilla. A little sweetness to it, probably from the maple, would taste good with a big ole pile of pancakes! Thank you Michael F. for the bottle!

2015 vintage. A touch of smoke. Some of the complexity has leveled out. Still enjoyed very much.

2013 version, today tastes like smoke bacon. This is crazy and awesome at the same time. I just don’t know what to do with this. Dogfish head truly put out some amazing brews back in the day.

Wow! This one almost slipped on by me. An American Strong Ale @11%, one of my favorite beer varieties. A lot are higher ABVs but this Immortal is well mixed and done, sweet and pungent in a real good way!

Campfire bacon on the nose, very subtle maple flavor and a peppery oak note on the finish. This is a nerd beer, but in a good way. One that is fun to pick apart. Definitely one of the more interesting brews I’ve ever had. Bottled 12/22/15

1-22-16 bottle pulled from cellar. Liking how well this is drinking now. Oak is most prevalent and maple/vanilla are, of course, faded, but good spice notes of cardamom and nutmeg from the age. Nice for a change up in style...solid 4

01/22/16. Holding up fantastically well. I was pleasantly surprised by the newly expanded vintage beer section. I'm not going to pass on a chance to buy a bottle of this. It's been a long time.

18 or so years ago, this was the most expensive beer I had ever seen and it fascinated me. I had to try it. I don’t remember what I thought of it then. Now it is not exactly my style, and definitely an average price should be paid, but it is good.
