Tasty unique lager. Light and Carmely but with a pepper bite. Not burning spicy but there is that spice there.

Appearance is dark with a heavy head. Peppery aroma. Forward is spicy and bubbly with notes of pepper. The finish teases your throat and tongue with a subtle hint of hot peppers. Fairly good beer for only 5% ABV

I expected some heat with this but it's not there. That grassy note present with green peppers is there.

Oh this is a lot of green chili. Almost a pickle juice - meets - brown lager taste. With a distinct green chili taste.

This boy has some bite. A darker lager, but the expected sweetness is replace with chili spice. Tasty, but one beer will do.

Very cool beer. Chiles come through. Had on cask and carbed. Liked the cask a good bit more.

On tap at DFH Brewing & Eats. A dark lager w/ chili peppers…you don’t see a preponderance of these on the market. It’s an acquired taste, but I do believe this beer executes on exactly what it sets out to. Roasty and smooth w/ a nice spicy pepper kick.

6.5% dark Tex/Mex lager brewed with fire roasted Hatch green chilies. Notes of toffee with a hint of spice. Really intriguing.

Nice complexity with "heartiness" from the chilies and a bit more boozy than your typical lager. Admittedly I am spoiled with all the great lagers coming out of Jack's Abbey, but a nice variation on the theme.
