Fruitcake. Smooth, fruity, slightly sweet from the Flemish influence. Notes of malty toffee, cherries, hints of gingersnap. This is a wonderful winter warmer.

This is the best new Dogfish Head I've had in a long time. Usually I like that they try wild things, but this is a very good traditional brew.

Really interesting red ale. A mix between a sour and wine. Very enjoyable

Blended with Rodenbach’s Grand Cru from Germany, Dogfish mellows out the tart cherry note with caramel and toffee, then adds a hint of hops. A unique and refreshing American, not Flemish, Red Ale.

Good, decent red ale! Always good stuff from Dogfish!

Good red, good collab but was expecting better from two giants in craft beer

Tasted like cranberry or some other type of sour berry fruit. Wasn't a fan at all. Would not buy again. Only thing that was good about it was the 7% abv

Excellent red, subtle sourness from Grand Cru, a little citrus

Apparently not a beer but a “malt beverage with natural flavors”. So beer-ish.

BA day 6: this was disappointing. For a beer blended with Rodenbach it's too sweet for me. Some acidity would have welcome

Bottle said “red ale”. Was not prepared for the sourness. Should have researched more

A Flemish Red aged in casks. Tart, effervescent, and easy to drink. Almost hints of a Christmas Ale.

So sumac is supposed to be a citrus alternative and that's what this tastes like. It's Woody and mellow but sharp and gritty.

Weirdly semi tart. Very slight cherry tones. Sorta bitter. Odd

Flemish Sour meets a red ale with tart sumac and citrus peel. Really just adds sweet amber malt and hibiscus tea flavors to the sour that should have been left alone

Light for a red or brown ale. Has a little tartness and hints of cherry and Barrel aged qualities.

Rich red-fruit flavors, particularly a strong cherry taste.
