First time trying it fresh and it doesn't feel as raw hoppy as I expected. Lots of hop oils and herbal character and surprisingly quite oxidized. Old one is definitely more balanced, more towards the hoppy barley wine

Wow - the smell after opening (acetone?) brought back memories of getting a case of 2016 & ‘needing’ to consume it before we moved to Prague… raw hop schnapps. Good/oily… but better if you leave it to figure things out on its own…

Rich, sweet malt with lots of booze. Barely wine through and through - pleasant caramel, light funk, interesting as ever. Great beer.

Look, this beer is not for everyone. However, it is next level of all beers for those that dig it. Malty, hippy flavor w/o the bitter aftertaste, the maple sweet start to the full rounded finish of brown sugar. Bam. Nikita I. Have you had this?
