Rich, sweet malt with lots of booze. Barely wine through and through - pleasant caramel, light funk, interesting as ever. Great beer.

Wow - the smell after opening (acetone?) brought back memories of getting a case of 2016 & ‘needing’ to consume it before we moved to Prague… raw hop schnapps. Good/oily… but better if you leave it to figure things out on its own…

First time trying it fresh and it doesn't feel as raw hoppy as I expected. Lots of hop oils and herbal character and surprisingly quite oxidized. Old one is definitely more balanced, more towards the hoppy barley wine

The app here says 15.3% abv. It certainly is boozy. Not that enjoyable IMHO, but somehow I got this for $5 instead of the usual $13 for 8oz pour. Every beer at Devilicious was $5 today.

ONLY in Mexico do you get this size of a pour of 120 on draft! I can feel it running through my body. Who knows what I'm gonna be paying for this. Yummy. Great start to a Saturday! Now to order breakfast.
