Birthday treat to myself, one of the pre-Brexit Huisvandegeuze order. Brilliant! Funky, softly sour, every sip a delight. Tackling the fab jazz quartet Lego set (Xmas pressie from Ness). Dreary wet day outside.

This was soooo yummy! Vat 108 Oude Geuze Boon is a mono blend from cask no.108, dating from 1935. Very well balanced, complex, acidic. Just a solid Geuze!

Bien sèche, caractère, intensité. Bonne acidité, tension et aigreur, nettement plus que Vat 91 et 92. Ceci dit, rien d’excessif non plus. Sinon, longue finale, sur bonne aigreur.

Шикарный экземпляр.Ощущение будто коровьего говна в бутылку растворили.И притом будто вымочено в старом подгнивающем трюме фрегата 18века.Дерево,говно,чуть травы.В балансе кислоты и сладости.Никакого ебаного уксуса.Ну может чуть вау не хватило.Оценка 4,9!

Sour, little more acidic than I prefer but the complexity makes up for it. Tons of oak notes. Love this blend.

Zure, mit ein bisschen frischem Apfel, der, der so richtig, also so richtig grün ist. Man schmeckt die Säure, die so zwischen dem Fleisch und der Schale vom Apfel ist. Also das, was am Apfel geil ist ohne den nicht geilen Teil vom Apfel.

Wow! It really takes you by surprise. Sour and dry, and a deep flavor that I cannot describe. It's more than a flavor, actually,; it's a feeling, possibly from the wood.. So unique!
