Drinking really nice. Love the tiny bit of dry hopped character to the Gueuze.

Oude Geuze Boon à l'Ancienne - VAT 108 Mono Blend

Sour, little more acidic than I prefer but the complexity makes up for it. Tons of oak notes. Love this blend.

Oude Geuze A L’Ancienne VAT 108bis Mono Blend

For a unblended lambic, it's got tons of life and complexity. But with it comes a ton of acidity. My stomach is churning halfway through the bottle. Near perfect otherwise.

Vigneronne (2015)

No carb, quite sour. Good balance of dusty notes without being oxidized. Not a ton of grape notes.

Zwanze 2022 - Poivre de Gorilles

Company surrounding us at Zwanze far exceeded the beer. Liem, Nolen, Shannon at MT, the couple from KC... Awesome day. Beer was too black pepper forward. Finish was clean though. Better than expected.

Peat, smoke, sherry with some nuttiness. Not much booze, tons of flavor. Exceptional bottle.

Racine Sur Lie

Very mild blend. No off flavors. Good, not amazing. Those rare Cantillon ticks have all the hype, this does not deserve it. Way better than white label 375 on site right now. Bottle 95

I ordered two by accident, zero regrets. Went back for multiple pours. One of the best of the day. Don't think I got a photo.

50 Degrees N - 4 Degrees E (2020) (Cognac)

February 2020 bottle Little carb. Nice complexity, sourness really builds with this one. Tough to solo dome towards the end.

It's fine. Nothing special. Fruit forward. No distractions. I think I drank half the bottle, no one went for a second pour. 🤣

Brabantiae (2018)

Amazing bottle. Great barrel character. Missing a lot of the oakyness that was in the bottle I opened. Katie and I were both blown away with how much better it is than the last one. Shame that La Fruitiere poured it in dirty glasses.

Drogone Lambic (2020)

Bottled exactly two years and one month ago. Very smooth, not very complex. Paired extremely well with the duck and cherries dish with dinner. Of course, saw Dave again at dinner and he was also drinking Drogone.

Lambic Vin Jaune / La Vie Est Belge (2020)

Unbelievable. I know it isn't aged in Sherry barrels like Zenne but I get like 90% of the same notes. Musty, oaky, oxidation, nutty, boozy. But you get a little hint of grape in there too and maybe a little sweetness too. It is my new favorite Cantillon.

Lambic Vin Jaune / La Vie es Belge

New favorite Cantillon. Dave poured me a bit to try. I get a very dusty, oxidized/ sherry like note to it. Incredible lambic. 2 ounces was not enough so ordered my own bottle.

Le Plaisir

Recommended by Dave. It does not disappoint. Very complex. Sour but a little sweet. Very smooth, gentle, easy drinking. Incredible. Normally have trouble finding the gems on the list, this was awesome too.

Blåbær Lambik (Blueberry Lambic) (2021)

First time trying Blabaer. A bit more sour than I expect from a lambic. But the blueberries and lambic work in perfect marriage with each other. It's a very nice beer. Much nicer than I expected. Most people said it would not be good. Very surprised.

Magic Lambic (2020)

Better than 2018. This time we could actually taste the raspberries and not just vanilla. As I said before, it's still pastry lambic. Not my jam. Tastes unfortunately like Raspberry Bianca from Omnipollo.

Grand Cru Bruocsella Brut (2020)

Not as good as I remember 2018 being but still much more enjoyable than regular GCB. Little extra carb adds some needed complexity. Probably my favorite non fruited option from Cantillon.

Poulsard Lambic

Slight blush hue to the lambik. Floral, far more than I would expect from a grape lambic but it worked well. Was not overwhelming. Very good. Favorite of the day.

Cantillo Cuvée Des Champions (2021)

375ml bottle on site. Dry hopped added some dryness to it. Not overly complex. Reminded me more of the Side Project dry hopped saisons than anything else. Grabbed a few 750ml bottles to age.
