Dirt, mushroom, tobacco/oak, cheese. Reminds me so much of 3F. Dirty and earthy with a nice malty sweetness behind it.

LC; “best by” the year I turn 53. Couldn’t wait. Liked but didn’t love: musty oak woodiness & light vanillins; touch of green apple spice & elderflower orchard fruit suggestions. Basement minerality. Dry. These are always fun to try.

Apple, muscat, apricot in the aromas with a mild funkiness. Smooth mouthfeel. Lightly bodied. Dry and mildly sour flavors with spicy(clove and pepper) nuances. Well-balanced.

Another beautiful boon from Boon. The VAT series are near masterpieces. Barnyard funkiness at maximum level. Great depth of flavors. Oranges by the way of peaches going on apricots without any sweetness. Oaky and dry to the bone.

Brewed on 11/16/2014, bottled on 12/16/2015 Deep gold; generous white head; white currant; hay; subtle smokey tobacco; subtle spices, incl. pepper; bread crust; oak; dry; subtly tart; effervescent; full-bodied; low+ bitterness.

More oak notes than i'm used to. Bets gets barnyard on the nose.
