ABV of 8% but it doesn’t seem to affect the taste at all—easy drinking, easily drunk. Lemon sourness, tastes in the roof of the mouth. A greatly balanced and mature brew.

Very surprised by this. Lovely caramelised citrus nose. Big mouthfeel, can’t feel the 8%. Acidity is super mellow now, but just a nice lick of it. Super caramelised finish, almost like slightly burnt caramel, with that bitterness. Long finish. Great.

Aroma started off vinos & zesty. Flavour had a nice tang & tartness. Profiles changed over a little time. Pepper in the aroma & a oak heaviness in the flavour were evident. Dryness on the throat continually grew. Very nice indeed.
