was really frightened to try this. i’ve never had a lambic before and this one was so expensive … and it says on untappd that it’s not in production anymore … and there was like a champagne cork in it… freaked me out. tastes crazy… like sour beer soda

Smooth entré, roughish finish. And this is no longer a young lambic so it should have a rough finish. No, doesn't quite cut it.

Hmmm lemon juice and tropical fruit, mostly stone fruit and apricots. Taste follows, if a tad thin in the middle. Bitter lemon peel.

Smaakt wranger dan de Boon die ik gewoon ben, pak bitterder waardoor het niet makkelijk is om de subtiele smaken terug te vinden. Eik proef je wel in nasmaak, maar de vanille- en perziktoetsen waar ik hoopte, vind ik helaas niet.

Had er iets meer van verwacht. Aroma is niet per se wauw en ook in de smaak is niet zo veel te herkennen. Kon beter.

Sour, funky and dry. Subtle oak. Quite ok but not the most remarkable sour.

Deze is houtachtig. Zelfs een overmaat aan orogano proef ik. Beetje vreemde smaak dus. Beeeeeetje zuur. Niet verkeerd. Maar niet voor herhaling vatbaar…😔
