Was hoping for lemony tang to go with crab cakes, but got soft melon. Think it must but Hansen’s I’m thinking about with more lemon character. No complaints though for what it is. Love me a geuze.

Traditional Belgian lambic. Sour and funky. Not as much sour punch as I expected, maybe due to the age. Smoother than I expected too. A mildly bitter finish. I must find more imported Belgian sours!

A proper sour, no fruit, aged for 6+ years!! Tart, clean, slightly bitter finish.

Stumbled across this in LBK!? Couldn’t pass it up. Acetic and sour, but in a good way. Enough tart sweetness to keep it from being overly sour. Very dry from beginning to end

Zuur bier matcht mooi met het zure weer 😅 Oude Geuze van 2014/2015 smaakt zachter dan een verse. Het bier is droog, fruitig en heeft mooie citrustonen. De smaak is vooral zuur en zoet. Heel mooi en verfijnd gebrouwen bier.

Nevelig, mooi CO². Citroen, grapefruit, limoen. Behoorlijk zuur, misschien vanwege de leeftijd maar gueuze nog steeds niet 'mijn ding'.

Vaikea arvioida kun ei oo aiemmin tullut juotua geuzeja. Maussa on vähän samaa kuin belgisiidereissä.

Having this side by side with a 3F the nose on the boon was more mineraly and funky (the boon was 1 year older than the 3f) and the taste was a bit sharper and less complex than the 3f. Both were delicious.

Ei miellytä Boonon gueuze samaan tapaan kuin muiden. Makeampi, mausta ei löydy juuri syvyyttä.
