Cherry and sour aroma. The taste is surprising - almost no sourness, just cherries, you can taste their flesh and skin. Later on comes a sourish note but the beer is on the sweet side. It's good but I'd expected lambic flavour in it and I didn't get it 🤔

Had this one a while too, lambic character has really mellowed. Cherry has become a tad jammy. Still very nice.

Très cerise, pas trop sucré. J’aurais pris plus d’effervescence.

Candy sour.!! It’s a sweet and syrupy mess... And this was produced back in the day to convert folk to proper Lambic. A splash is enough for me.!

Now that’s more like it! So good! Nice rich smooth kriek! Sweet cherry flavour.

Fruktig men god, fruktøl er ikke min favoritt men var frisk og god. 🍻

Kriek night. Trying these two side by side for comparison. This is quite light and very easy drinking. Might as well have poured the whole bottle into a pint glass. I know it's not the culturally acceptable approach but this isn't going to last 5 minutes.

Helaas niet onder de goede omstandigheden opgeslagen en daardoor is de smaak niet meer zo lekker

Sweet red and black cherry, almond, faint oak. Compared to the dryness, acidity, and complexity of an Oude Kriek, this is like candy. Would pair pretty well with summer salads, young goat cheeses, and some desserts.
