This lambic has a nice light hazy golden colour with a very small snow-white head. The aroma is funky but simply amazing: oakwood, lemon, smoke, leather and spices. The taste is also very very good, it starts sour, but not too sour, with massive smoke..

Funky stonefruit, wood and pepperberry aroma. Gooseberry, apricot, oak and mild white pepper flavour. Tart, funky, peppery, dry and mildly acidic,🇧🇪

Sharp and rough. Boon can do a lot better, but it is still not bad.

Bizarre. Gros pop à l'ouverture. Grosse faveur sur la.premiere gorgée, puis plus rien.

Nose is cheesy, funky, not typical for Boon. No brett in aroma. Taste is lemony, not too acidic. Lots of carbonation, great mouthfeel.

Erg prikkelend door koolzuur. Zacht licht zure smaak. Licht bittere smaak in de afdronk.

Extremely mellow and rounded geuze. Oaky with noticeable bitterness. Doesn't have the boon "cheese" - more of a nutty characteristic. One of my least favourite from this series.

Fruit en zurigheid in de neus. Smaak is gemiddeld zoet en iets meer dan gemiddeld bitter en meer dan gemiddeld zuur. Fris, fruitig, zurig, zoetje, veel carbonatie en bittertje. Afdronk lang met zoetje, zuurtje, carbonatie en dan droog eindigend. Lekker!

Mooi zacht mondgevoel mooi in balans met koolzuur. Bij openen ruik je meteen de eikenhouten vaten. Dit proef je ook heel duidelijk in de nasmaak. Eerst heel verfrissend zuur met een warme en wat zwaardere houten nasmaak...
